Families in Christ Ministries (FIC) began in 1999 as a ministry to families and later became a cover church-organization for HomeLife Academy. The law states that church-related schools be operated by a “denominational, parochial, or other bona fide church organization.” FIC is the bona fide church-organization. FIC is a vision which God gave us over ten years ago to help families with marriage, parenting, and other needs in way of moving us all to grow in Christ. FIC has been listed with the state of TN all these years and is a covering for HLA but only recently has God began to stir us to look at how FIC can begin to grow and help homeschooling families more, as well as other families.
